Hi and welcome to Brunch at Chelse’s! My name is Chelse Brown and I’m the owner and chef of BAC. However, we are a family-operated business and my sister Diamond Brown, is the other half of BAC dynamic dou! I’m a native of DeKalb County, Georgia and Winter Garden, Florida (yes, I have two places that I call home.) I am a serial entrepreneur and have many business ventures that have succeeded in much success over the years! BAC is by far my favorite company that I own and operate. After two failed attempts of opening a restaurant and a food truck, I pivot into a custom catering service and a pop-up restaurant. I’m a firm believer in “to find a way, you have to make a way!
The awarded Army Veteran exemplifies dedication, bravery, selfless service, hard-work, brains and beauty. Although, the self-taught chef does not have a degree in culinary or background experience in the hospitality industry, she has determination and an admirable entrepreneurial work-ethic. Chelse graduated from Georgia State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism. Chelse obtained her caterer certification from International Association of Professions Career College where she was trained in business planning, setting fees, obtaining supplies and equipment, working with support staff and contractors, client consultation and more.
